The Conference venue is the Amathus Beach Hotel, Amathus Avenue, 3606 Limassol, Cyprus.
Accommodation
Conference participants can reserve their accommodation through the CPC Events Ltd:

A number of hotel rooms have been prereserved at a special price for the participants in the venue Amathus Beach Hotel, in the adjacent 4-stars Mediterranean Beach Hotel, the (10 mins by bus - 25 mins walk) 4-stars Elias Beach Hotel and other nearby hotels.

Location
The tutorials, oral and poster presentations will all take place at the Amathus Beach Hotel.
Registration, Exhibitors and Lecture rooms
The registration will be open from Sunday late afternoon 26th August 2012 and take place at the main lobby of the Amathus Beach Hotel.
The paper presentations will take place at the the Amathus Beach Hotel (Rooms R1 to R8). There will be signs with indications to the various Room. The first seven rooms are in the Mazzani (first floor) while room R8 is in the ground floor. The poster presentations will take place adjucent to the Rooms R5-R8 and the Mazzani terrace where the coffee breaks will take place. Exhibitors will be based at the main lobby of the venue Hotel. The Room abbreviations are (capacity in brackets):

The lecture rooms will be equipped with a PC and a computer projector. The session chairs should obtain copies of the talks on a USB stick before the session starts (use the lecture room as the meeting place), or obtain the talks by email prior to the start of the conference. Presenters must provide to the session chair with the files for the presentation in PDF (Acrobat) or PPT (Powerpoint) format on a USB memory stick. This must be done ten minutes before each session. The PC in the lecture rooms should be used for presentations. The session chairs are kindly requested to have a laptop for backup.
Please note that Cyprus has identical plugs /power outlets to the UK, and thus differ from those in the rest of Europe and beyond. We cannot provide adapters, so please do not forget to take your adapters if needed.
Travel
The hotels are approx. 35-40 minutes drive from Larnaca airport and approx. 50 minutes from Paphos airport. We recommend that you book a taxi or a shuttle transfer from the airport to the hotel (details will be provided in spring 2012).
Weather
Cyprus is situated in the easter corner of the Mediterranean, has a sub-tropical climate and is a very popular holiday destination. In August the average day temperature is approximately 32 degrees Celsius.

Visa Information
The participants coming from outside the European Union and requiring visa information should visit the web sites www.cyprusvisa.eu and Travel Information from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for further information. This site will enable you to find out whether you need a visa or not. If you do need a visa it will provide you with links to the forms you need to fill out and contact details from where you can obtain a visa (Embassies and General Consulates of the Republic of Cyprus).
If you need a letter confirming your participation to the conference, then this can be provided. However it will only be issued after a registration and payment has been received, and there can be no exceptions to this. Please request your participation confirmation letter by sending an email with all details (name, affiliation, full address, email and tel) to Mrs Eugenia Tsinti (send email).
Internet, Information and Messages
There will be wireless Internet connection in the venue Hotel. You will need to have your own PC in order to connect to the Internet. The login and password will be displayed in the announcement board by the registration desk.
You may leave messages for each other on the bulletin board by the registration desks. General information about restaurants, useful numbers, etc. can be obtained from the Conference Agency desk, CPC Evelts Ltd.
